Who we are:
Word In Heart Ministries Inc., is a charitable non-profit religious organization that assists the follower of Jesus the Christ to become more Christ like in thought as well as application of sound moral, spiritual and ethical practices. As a result, government burden will be lessened, neighborhood tensions will be eased, prejudice and discrimination will be eliminated, human and civil rights will be defended and community deterioration including juvenile delinquency will be combatted.
Our 5-fold purpose:
1. Encourage and help the child of God (disciple) better understand and ultimately respond to their God-given mandate to:
a. grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.“ [2 Pe. 3:18],
b. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God…“ [2 Tim. 2:15], and
c. Mature from feasting on “milk” to dining on the “meat” of God’s Word. [Heb.5:12-14]
This caters to meeting humanity’s spiritual needs to become one with our Creator.
2. Involve, fellow believers in a deeper understanding and relationship with Jesus the Christ as their personal Lord and Savior as well as encourage those who don’t know Jesus the Christ to come to a loving, saved relationship with Jesus through becoming familiar with His Holy Word (the Bible). [Ja. 1:22; Heb.10:21-23]
3. Positively impact our local community by applying sound Biblical promises, principles, precepts and prohibitions that are gleaned through reading God’s Word. [Ps. 119:11, 105] The reading, verification of the read material and reward for reading those Bible scriptures is the primary method of administering the purpose of this corporation. This Bible Reading Challenge ministry, for example, shall focus on encouraging the Bible reader to become familiar with key biblical people, places, promises, principles, precepts and prohibitions that are found in each of the main Bible groups of The Law, Old Testament History, Old Testament Wisdom/Poetry, Prophets, The Gospels, Church History, Paul’s Letters, General Letters, and Prophecy.
4. Demonstrate compassion to hurting and helpless people by supplying free resources to help them meet their physical, mental and emotional needs for food, shelter, clothing, and love so that they can better focus on becoming more Christ-like in action and spirit. The focus of this ministry shall be to assist the homeless to reinvigorate their dignity, livelihood and positive contributions to society by enabling them to receive and demonstrate God’s purposeful love. [Matt. 25:35-36; Jn. 13:35]
5. Augment Christian church ministries by serving as a motivating and enabling fiscal and training resource.
